BTEA concludes participation in IMEX Frankfurt 2019

Frankfurt, May 26 (BNA): A delegation from the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) has concluded its participation in the IMEX Frankfurt 2019 held on May 21-23. BTEA Manager of Marketing and Promotion of Exhibitions and Conferences, Fawzi Talfat, said the BTEA’s participation aimed at accentuating Bahrain as a prominent destination in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE). The BTEA’s delegation comprised a group of national tourism companies, which highlighted Bahrain's basics tourism and its advanced infrastructure, which have played a vital role in making it as a unique destination for exhibitions and conferences. He noted the BTEA attaches great significance to the MICE sector for the development of Bahrain tourism sector. And that its strategy is to participate in various international events to highlight Bahrain's fundamentals and business-friendly infrastructure, as well as attracting investors, especially from European markets. It also targets intensifying the tourism sector’s contribution to the GDP to contribute to the achievement of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. The exhibition is a key international event specialized in the MICE activities. It attracts international tourism offices, prominent hotels, cruise companies, airlines, and technology solution providers companies. It is an ideal platform for sealing contracts and investment deals.
