BTEA promotes Bahrain as mega wedding destination

Manama, Dec. 25 (BNA): Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in collaboration with Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has arranged a meeting with an esteemed family from Hyderabad, India to discuss the arrangements for an upcoming mega wedding in Bahrain. The wedding will take place on January 23-26 and will feature 500 guests who will fly to Bahrain on Gulf Air from various cities in India including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. The airline will allocate one Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to transport the majority of the guests from Hyderabad while the other guests from the other cities will use Gulf Air scheduled flights. In the meeting, Gulf Air’s deputy CEO Waleed Al Alawi and Dr. Ali Foulad, consultant for BTEA and director of weddings incentive programme met with the Indian family and discussed logistics and other facilities to ensure comfort and convenience for the wedding guests. Gulf Air and BTEA work hand in hand to promote Bahrain as a wedding destination as the airline provides excellent connections and frequencies from India to the Kingdom and BTEA offers all ground arrangements for such big events.
