BTEA wraps up participation in Kuwait Entertainment and Tourism Exhibition

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) successfully wrapped up its participation in the Kuwait Entertainment and Tourism Exhibition which was held from February 20th to 22nd in Kuwait. Other exhibitors from Bahrain included Almobtaker Travel & Tourism, the K- Hote, Ibn Firnas (Sehab Travel), SwissBel Hotel, Farahat International Travel and Tours and Lagoona Beach Luxury Resort and Spa. The exhibitors were keen to participate in this exhibition in order to increase domestic tourism in the Kingdom and boost intra-GCC tourism by highlighting the Kingdom’s tourist attractions, activities and events. "By participating in the Kuwait Entertainment & Tourism Exhibition 2019, we were able to showcase the BTEA’s latest developments projects in the tourism sector, further strengthening the Kingdoms position as the ideal tourist destination,’ said the Chief Executive Officer of BTEA, H.E. Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa. "We were also pleased to network with several Kuwaiti organizations and companies in the travel industry in order to enhance our relationships. We have always been keen to participate in all regional and international exhibitions and events, which is an excellent opportunity to meet with other major companies operating in the tourism sector to discuss the latest developments," he added. The BTEA’s participation comes in line with its long term strategy to further develop the Kingdom’s tourism sector and strengthen its position on a regional and international level under the slogan of ‘Ours.Yours.’, which contributes towards the Kingdom’s economy and the 2030 Economic Vision.
