Cabinet affairs minister receives author, artist

Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA): Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Ebrahim Al Mattawa today received sports historian Hassan Saleh Al Dossary who gifted to him a copy of his latest book titled "Nojoom fee Al Thakirah". The minister noticed the informative book content, asserting the importance of such publications in documenting the history of sports and football stars in particular whose achievements raised the Kingdom of Bahrain's name at the various arenas. The book sheds light on Bahraini football accomplishments and its progress and development thanks to the support of the Kingdom's leadership. The author expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the minister for his support and encouragement for Bahraini writers and researchers. The minister also received artist Jumaa Hilal Faraj who gifted to him one of his artistic masterpieces, praising the artist's professionalism, especially in pencil drawing of portraits. The artist expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the minister for his attention to the artistic vocations and his support to Bahraini artists, pointing out that his initiative to embody Bahraini personalities emanates from his appreciation and gratitude to persons who played plausible roles in serving the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
