Cabinet Minister meets UNDP official

Manama, Oct. 9 (BNA): Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa received United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) resident coordinator Amine Al-Sharqawi and discussed cooperation to support sustainable development effort in Bahrain. He commended the UNDP-led efforts to support the Government’s development projects in all fields, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness on strengthening cooperation with the UN agency benefiting from its expertise. The UNDP official also highlighted Bahrain’s keen interest in consolidating cooperation and spearheading development projects, hailing the Kingdom’s strides in achieving the Millennium development projects and progress towards meeting the 2030 Sustainable development goals.
