Cabinet Minister visits Gulf Center for Strategic Studies

Cairo , Feb. 8 (BNA): Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Mutawa, accompanied by Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa and Bahrain's Ambassador to Egypt, Permanent delegate to the Arabic League, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, today paid a visit, on the sidelines of his current visit to Egypt, to the Gulf Centre for Strategic Studies (GCSS) in Cairo, where they were welcomed by GCSS President Dr. Omar Hassan. Al-Mutawa was briefed on the GCSS publications, including books, researches and studies in international political and economic fields, and their impact on the Gulf and Arab region. He praised the GCSS efforts that contribute to developing strategic visions to focus on the central issues at the Gulf, Arab and international level. He emphasized the role of research centers in supporting decision-making process and planning political, economic and social approaches to boost the progress of nations and achieving their desired goals. Dr. Hassan hailed the Bahraini government's interest in promoting scientific researches and studies, noting the development witnessed by Bahrain in various areas under the prosperous era of the royal leadership.
