"Call of Duty" election slogan launched

Manama, Sept.12 (BNA): The parliamentary election media campaign 2018 will be conducted under the theme "Call_of_Duty". The Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission (LLOC) launched the slogan on the official accounts of the elections on Twitter @votebh and Instagram vote.bh. The commission stressed the significance of the 2018 slogan which depicts elections as a constitutional right as well as a patriotic duty for citizens to elect their representatives who will best express their aspirations. "The slogan reflects Bahrainis’ firm determination to pursue national work and further bolster participation which prospered in the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa", it said. The inspiring theme epitomizes citizens’ active role in supporting the reform project, which was initiated by HM the King, to modernise the constitutional and legal system in Bahrain. The LLOC statement said that the constructive participation of citizens in the decision-making process represents the cornerstone of national work. It paid tribute to the people of Bahrain, who answer the call of duty, show utmost dedication in serving the nation and assume their role in the decision-making. The commission said that the 2018 slogan, "Call_of_Duty", reflects Bahrainis’ vitality and pivotal role in building their country, achieving national development and progress and turning difficulties into success stories.
