Capital Governor receives Bahraini Ambassador to Russia

Manama, Feb. 8 (BNA): Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa received Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation, Ahmed Sa’ati. They discussed means of activating a memorandum of cooperation signed by the Capital Governorate and the Russian city of St. Petersburg in 2014 so as to boost the governorate’s efforts to enhance friendly relations with main cities in the world. The Capital Governor underlined strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation and their perpetual growth in various fields. He lauded the efforts of the Bahraini ambassador in further cementing strategic relations at all levels and highlighting the kingdom’s achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Bahraini ambassador conveyed the desire of officials in Moscow to study the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement with Manama in continuation of the efforts aimed at boosting coordination and partnership between both countries. He expressed thanks to the Capital Governor for the gracious welcome, commending his efforts to further bolster the Bahraini-Russian relations.
