Capital governorate celebrates National Action Charter anniversary

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): The Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and the Bahraini people on the National Action Charter celebrated anniversary. Shaikh Hisham hailed His Majesty's resolve to achieve more development and modernisation in the Kingdom of Bahrain through the various governmental institutions and entities. The governor affirmed that the National Action Charter being celebrated today is opportunity to remember the day on which the Bahraini citizens have confirmed their love of the nation and loyalty to His Majesty the King as well as the solidarity among all the society segments endorsing the National Action Charter by 98.4% 'yes' votes by the Bahraini people in the 2001 plebiscite. During the governorate’s festivities marking the National Action Charter's 18th anniversary, the governor highlighted the Kingdom’s achievements in all arenas that positioned Bahrain on an advanced status evidenced by the size of development.
