'Challenges require stronger regional cooperation, coordination'

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at the Gudaibiya Palace today.
The two leaders reviewed the latest regional and international developments, stressing that the challenges the region is currently facing require extraordinary coordination and cooperation to come up with a common vision that enables the countries of the region to maintain the rapid pace of their development march and ensure the continuity of economic progress within security and stability.
Commenting on their recent tour in some Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince expressed satisfaction over the keenness of GCC states to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
They asserted that the progress boom currently witnessed by GCC countries reflects their strong resolve to reach the highest levels of development, and determination to turn the challenges into factors that stimulate more dedication and giving to achieve the best for the region and its peoples.
