Chechen President visits Royal Guard

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov paid a visit today to the Royal Guard where he was welcomed by Royal Guard Commander Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. After playing the national anthems of the two friendly countries, the Guard of Honour, which lined up to greet the Chechen President, was inspected. Then, after a recitation of some verses from the Holy Quran, Major General Shaikh Nasser delivered a speech in which he welcomed the President of Chechniya, lauding the efforts and dedication of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) personnel. He also praised their constant readiness to protect national achievements and defend the right. He paid homage to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their life to defend their religion and homeland. After that, the National Guard Commander briefed the Chechen President about the number of vehicles and modern weapons at BDF and the Interior Ministry which are used by the Royal Guard Special Force personnel to fulfill their duties and military missions. The Chechen President expressed appreciation of the vehicles and weaponry. He also watched part of the field training performed by the Royal Guard Special Force personnel. The Chechen President praised the military shows which reflect the high level of coordination and integration in carrying out missions skillfully and professionally.
