ChemIndix 2016 inaugurated

Manama, Nov. 21 (BNA): On behalf of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa inaugurated today the 10th International Conference and Exhibition on Chemistry in Industry (ChemIndix 2016) at the Gulf Hotel's Gulf Convention Centre. The event is organized by the Saudi Arabian International Chemical Sciences Chapter of the American Chemical Society (SAICSC-ACS) in coordination with the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA). Shaikh Khalid thanked HRH the Prime Minister for patronizing the international event which is held for the 10th consecutive time in Bahrain. He also hailed the organizing committee's choice of Bahrain as a host of this series of specialized conferences and exhibitions which testifies to the good reputation of Bahrain as a major host of regional and international functions. He stressed that ChemIndix 2016 represents a platform to exchange innovations in chemistry and specialized engineering related to the oil and petrochemical industry. The conference will shed light on connection between oil refineries and the petrochemical industry as well as the increasing demand in the petrochemical industry and encouraging companies to take advantage of modern technologies to improve production and preserve the environment. The three-day conference is held this year under the theme "Sustainable Energy Industry through Innovative Chemistry". Hosting a large gathering of scientists and professionals from around the world, ChemIndix Conference and Exhibition is a highly recognised technical event encapsulating the latest state-of-the-art technologies, products and solutions used in the energy industry. Participation in the event offers organisations exposure to high-ranking officials and top-tier leaders from academia and industry.
