Chief Executive of Cybersecurity opens workshop

Manama, July 5 (BNA): Chief Executive of the National Centre for Cybersecurity Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has inaugurated a workshop on cybersecurity rules in the health sectors. Organised by the Centre in cooperation with the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), the opening was attended by senior health officials. The CEO thanked and appreciated the Interior Minister for his ongoing support to promote cybersecurity in Bahrain by reinforcing capabilities to face threats as part of Bahrain Vision 2030. The workshop reviewed the security rules of the health sector in Bahrain to meet the best international practices by promoting protection systems. He said that the workshop discussed the draft of a policy of the cybersecurity rules in the health sector, including the main requirements for hospitals and health institutions to protect their systems and networks.
