Chief of Staff Meets Military Leaders on Sidelines of DIMDEX 2022

Doha, March 22 (QNA) - HE Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit met with ministers, chiefs of staff and military leaders of a number of friendly countries, on the sidelines of Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022). HE the Chief of Staff met separately with HE the UK Chief of Defense Staffs Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa Air Marshal Martin Sampson; HE Commander of the French Joint Forces in the Indian Ocean Rear Admiral Jacques Fayard; HE President of the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industries Ismail Demir; HE Chief of Army Staff of the Republic of Bangladesh Gen. SM Shafiuddin Ahmed; HE Director of International Relations at the French Directorate General of Armaments Lt. Gen. Eng. Thierry Carlier; HE Commander of Defense Support in the Republic of Korea Lt. Gen. Lee Sang Jun; and HE Italian Undersecretary of State for Defense Senator Stefania Pucciarelli. The meetings discussed issues of common concern in the military field, in addition to aspects of cooperation and means of enhancing and developing them. (QNA)
