Chief of Staff Receives Phone Call from Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff

Doha, August 31 (QNA) - HE Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem received a phone call from HE Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley. During the phone call, HE General Milley expressed thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by Qatar Armed Forces by participating in the evacuation and temporary accommodation of the departures from the Afghan capital Kabul, and the provision of support; stressing the need for concerted efforts in order to complete their departure to the United States and other countries as soon as possible. The two sides affirmed continued cooperation in issues of mutual concern. (QNA)
