Children Want to Celebrate Children’s Day at Government Venues

BANGKOK, Jan 10 (TNA) - Children want to celebrate the upcoming National Children’s Day at events that governmental organizations will host and they also wish society to have public mind. Culture Minister Vira Rojpojchanarat said his ministry learned the findings from a survey it conducted together with the Suan Dusit Poll. The survey involved 5,580 respondents. According to him, 94.64% of respondents know that the National Children’s Day falls on the second Saturday of January and 72.52% heard the prime minister’s motto for the upcoming National Children’s Day on Jan 12. The motto calls for public mind among children. Most respondents said they wanted to join National Children’s Day events at Government House, provincial halls and venues of the armed forces. Asked about their favorite public service activities, most respondents said they would like to joint cleaning, cultural conservation and animal care activities. Asked about their wishes on the occasion of the National Children’s Day, most respondents said they wished Thai people’s public mind, freedom to do their favorite activities, free education until graduation and public awareness on the importance of children.
