Chuvit shows evidence to back his claim on real owners of Victoria Secret

BANGKOK, Jan 23 (TNA) - Former massage parlour tycoon Chuvit Kamolvisit revealed photos of the persons he claimed to be the real owners of the massage parlour Victoria Secret, raided by officials of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI). Mr Chuvit, the previous owner, founded Victoria Secret in 1989 before he later sold the business. He disclosed the photos of Kampol Weerathepsuporn, 61 and his wife, Nipa Theeratrakulwattana, 68, showing they joined a party with employees to back his claim that they were the real owner of Victoria Secret. The venue was raided by the DSI on Jan 12 in an operation to crack down on human trafficking and underage prostitution. He also showed the list of shareholders and the venue’s response plan in case that the premises was raided by the authorities. He affirmed that Sasithorn Weerathepsuporn, the license-holder of the business, who turned herself in earlier is not the real owner but only a nominee of Mr Kamphon and Ms Nipa. Mr Chuvit said the real owners have connection with high ranking officials, so he was afraid that they would use power to avoid punishment. He called for the DSI and relevant agencies to arrest the real owners as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Mr Chuvit said the US Embassy also invited him to give more information about the case, as the operation of the message parlour and its network is deemed as a criminal organization. The authorities also posted photos of Mr Kamphon and Ms Nipa at the immigration checkpoint at Aranyaprathet in Sakaeo province, bordering Cambodia. Officials exercise strict control at the checkpoint and areas along the border to prevent them from escaping the country. (TNA)
