CIS Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation
Moscow, April 27, 2009 (Khabar) - A memorandum of interaction between the CIS executive committee and the Commonwealth inter-state humanitarian cooperation has been signed in Moscow. The document was signed by the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister, Sergei Lavrov and the CIS executive committee chairman, Sergei Lebedev as well as the chairman of the Humanitarian cooperation fund, the minister for education and science of Kazakhstan, Zhanseit Tuimebeyev. The signed agreement points out the main directions in terms of cooperation between the structures involved and enable the deepening of their integration processes.

- The fund has shown itself as a promising and required organisation. It will serve as a good mechanism for helping develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the CIS in terms of science, education, culture, sports, student exchange, tourism as well as mass media cooperation.
