Civil Defence Director-General holds meeting with Saudi counterpart

Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA) : Bahrain hosts in February, the second International Fire Operations Conference (IAFC) that is held in cooperation between Saudi Aramco and the International Association of Fire Chiefs. To get ready for the event, the Director-General of Civil Defence has held a coordination meeting with his Saudi counterpart to associate the Saudi Civil Defence in the IAFC as a strategic partner. The conference will discuss topics and papers related to the development of the firefighting through reviewing successful international experiences. The event will also review the formation of a regional consultation council for firefighting chiefs to enhance the services of civil defence teams. The two officials also discussed means to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in training and joined work to reach the highest level of technical preparedness and competency.
