CMU-Q and Foreign Ministry Sign an MoU on Education and Research

Doha, February 28 (QNA) - The Diplomatic institute of the Foreign Ministry signed here on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Carnegie Mellon university Qatar (CMU-Q) on education, scientific research and community development. The Memo aims at improving and enhancing the area of education and knowledge, scientific research, executive training, community development, exchanging experiences and professionals in the field of business administration and information system. HE the Assistant Minister for Services Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa signed the memorandum with the Dean of CMU-Q, Dr Ilker Baybars , in the presence of each of, HE Director of the diplomatic institute, Ambassador Hassan bin Ibrahim Al Muhnnadi, and Operations CEO, Richard Mendi, and the Executive Chief of the governmental initiatives at CMU-Q, Fadel Adnan. HE Rashid Al Khalifa emphasized that the Foreign Ministry represented in the diplomatic institute is giving a priority to developing the skills and abilities of its employees in order to cope with the paramount achievements Qatar diplomacy has achieved regionally and internationally. Meanwhile CMU-Q. Dr Ilker Baybars said that the CMU-Q work strategy has been adjusted to be in line with Qatar development vision 2030. (QNA)
