Coast Guard Commander receives US Deputy Director of Strategy, Planning and Policy

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): Commander of Coast Guard, Brigadier Jassim Al Ghattam, has received Deputy Director of Strategy, Planning and Policy of the US Central Command, Nicholas Tilbrook. He asserted the importance of security cooperation, coordination, and joint operations between the two sides. The meeting highlighted the duties of the Coast Guard and its role in protecting maritime borders. Topics of common interest were reviewed, including training and building capabilities.
