Coastguard chief attends MSC meeting in London

Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA): The Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) convened in London, Britain, as part of its 97th session. Coastguard Commander Commodore Ala’a Abdulla Siadi attended the meeting which was held at the headquarters of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), known as the Inter-Governmental Maritime Consultative Organization (IMCO). The delegations focused on proposals to amend some articles of the The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and other key issues relating to IMO.
