Commander-in-Chief congratulates HH Shaikh Khalid on Asian victory

Manama, Apr. 26 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, has sent a cable of congratulations to Lieutenant-Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), on the Bahrain National Athletics Team’s winning the 23rd Asian Athletics Championship. The commander-in-chief stressed that the distinguished historic achievement is the fruitful outcome of the constant support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed expressed pride in the tremendous efforts exerted by HH Shaikh Khalid to enhance the sports sector, wishing him further success.
