Commander-in-Chief congratulates HH Shaikh Nasser on Asian victory

Manama, Apr. 26 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, has sent a cable of congratulations to Major-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, on the Bahrain National Athletics Team’s winning the 23rd Asian Athletics Championship. The commander-in-chief stressed that the distinguished historic achievement reflects the successful efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser to enhance Bahrain’s sports sector, within the progress march witnessed by the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed expressed pride in the tremendous efforts exerted by HH Shaikh Nasser in the sports field, wishing him further success.
