Commander-in-Chief inspects BDF task force participating in Arab Coalition

Riyadh, Nov. 6 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today paid an inspection visit to the BDF’s Task Force participating in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition. Upon arrival at the King Fahad Air Base in Taif, the commander-in-chief was welcomed by the Commander of the Taif Military Region, Assistant Commander of King Fahad Air Base in the Western Sector, Bahrain’s Consul-General in Jeddah, the Commander of the Bahraini combat group of the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) and a number of senior officers. The commander-in-chief met the officers, non-commissioned officers and members of the RBAF’s Task Force at the King Fahad Air Base in Taif, and was detailed about Bahrain’s task force and the results of its work and operations, giving them directives to continue performing their duties and the tasks assigned to them within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to protect gains, raise the banners of glory and dignity and support legitimacy within the Operation Restoring Hope in brotherly Yemen. He conveyed greetings and appreciation from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, to the members of the Task Force. The commander-in-chief expressed pride in the officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel of the kingdom’s Task Force for their participation in the Arab Coalition’s operations, in line with the directives of HM the King, the Supreme Commander, as part of the joint defence agreement with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and the solid deep-rooted fraternal relations with them. The BDF chief lauded the personnel of Bahrain’s Task Force for their dedication in carrying out their patriotic duties with courage and bravery. He stressed their unwavering dedication in assuming their duties in support of brotherly countries, defending the Right, protecting the Arab national security and maintaining regional stability, wishing them every success, along with brethren from brotherly countries stationed at Saudi Arabia’s air, land and marine borders.
