Commander-in-Chief inspects BDF units

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, paid today an inspection visit to a number of BDF units where he met their commanders who briefed him about the units' preparation and training programmes. After getting informed about the needed preparations to achieve the aspired combat and administrative readiness, the BDF Commander-in-Chief stressed that thanks to Allah the Almighty and the valuable directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the BDF is going ahead with military development at all levels. He praised dedication of the BDF personnel to attain high levels of combat readiness and remain the protective shield of the kingdom's security and stability. He urged them to exert more efforts to boost their competence, stressing that defending the nation is a sacred duty and a great responsibility.
