Commander-in-Chief receives 5th Fleet Commander

Manama, Mar. 29 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received outgoing Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, US 5th Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces, Vice-Admiral Samuel Paparo. BDF Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi was present. The meeting discussed a number of issues of common interest. The commander-in-chief praised the commander’s efforts during his tenure, affirming the distinguished friendship between Bahrain and USA, and the development and growth witnessed by both countries especially at the military level.
