Commander-in-Chief receives Bahraini-British Joint Military Cooperation Committee delegation

Manama, Feb. 18 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF General Command today, a delegation from the Bahraini-British Joint Military Cooperation Committee, led by retired Air Vice Marshal Nigel Maddox, and including Martin Day, from the British Defence Ministry. Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, was present. The commander-in-chief welcomed the members of the Bahraini-British Joint Military Cooperation Committee, lauding the long-standing friendship relations between the two countries. He praised the existing cooperation between the two kingdoms in various fields, especially regarding exchange of military expertise, wishing every success to the Bahraini-British Joint Military Cooperation Committee which aims to achieve bilateral defence coordination and cooperation, as well as complementarity and exchange of experiences in the military field. Director of the BDF General Command’s Court, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering, Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah, Maintenance and Technical Supply Director, Rear Admiral Anwar Abdullah Jassim Al Jowder, Director of Military Cooperation, Rear Admiral Mohammed Abdulla Al-Sada, Director of Planning, Organisation and Technology, Major-General Shaikh Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa, and a number of senior BDF officers, also attended.
