Commander-In-Chief receives BDF Haj mission

Manama, July 22 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received here today the BDF Haj mission ahead of their departure to the holy lands. Chief of Staff. Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, was present. The commander-in-chief conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to BDF Haj pilgrims, as well as their wishes of successful performance of the Haj rituals, along with other Haj pilgrims. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed said that thanks to HM King Hamad’s continuous interest, the BDF has been organising Haj trips for its affiliates in recognition of their loyalty and dedication. He requested members of the BDF Haj Mission to cooperate among themselves and with other pilgrims, and to adhere to the tolerant precepts of the Islamic religion. In this regard, the The commander-in-chief lauded the facilities provided by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to serve Haj pilgrims, wishing them successful Haj rituals, and many happy returns to the Bahraini leadership and people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations. Undersecretary of the Defence Affairs Ministry, Major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and a number of BDF officers also attended.
