Commander-in-Chief receives UK Maritime Component Commander

Manama, Jan. 3(BNA): The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received the outgoing UK Maritime Component Commander Edward Ahlgren. Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi was present. The commander-in-chief praised the efforts exerted by the outgoing UK Maritime Component Commander throughout his tenure, wishing him success in his future endeavors. He lauded the deep-rooted friendly Bahraini-UK relations, praising the steady progress of cooperation across various fields, particularly in the exchange of expertise and military cooperation.
