Commander-in-Chief receives US ambassador

Manama, June 13 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received today the US Ambassador to Bahrain Justin Sibrell. The meeting was attended by Minister of Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi. The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the US ambassador, lauding relations of friendship between both countries. Both sides also discussed ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation mainly in the military and defence field. Present at the meeting were the General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa'ad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Yusef Ahmed Malallah, Commander of the Royal Bahrain Air Force Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Sadah, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Major General Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fadhala and senior officers. The meeting was also attended by the US Military Attache to Bahrain David C Wallin.
