Commander-in-Chief receives US Secretary of Navy

Manama, Dec. 15 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received today the US Secretary of the Navy Kenneth Braithwaite and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Minister of Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi. The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the US Secretary of the Navy and his accompanying delegation and reviewed historical relations of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA. Both sides also discussed issues pertaining to military cooperation between the two friendly countries. The meeting was attended by General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Yousef Ahmed Malallah, Royal Bahrain Air Force Commander Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Royal Bahrain Naval Force Commander Rear Admiral Mohammed Yousef Al-Asam and senior BDF officers.
