Composer Vladimir Pitertsev wrote about 300 songs

Almaty, 22 October 2008, (Khabar) - Famous Kazakhstani singers Roza
Baglanova, Makpal Zhunusova and Bagdad Sametdinova sing his songs. The
composer have been cooperating with poet Shomishpai Sariyev for about 30
years and he wrote over 100 songs for his poems. At the beginning of 1960-s
family of Vladimir Pitertsev came to Kazakhstan from Far East as his father
was a military man. And now Vladimir Veniaminovich can't imagine himself
living in some other place. There are very many diplomas in his small flat.
Currently Pitertsev conducts the children's ensemble "Ile Sazy" that is a
great success. At the contest "An Tyndaiyk" (Let's Listen to a Song) the
song for the poem of Shomishpai Sariyev that was sung by Tyngyshbai
Zhamankulov, won the first place.

Vladimir Pitertsev, composer:
- I said to him "You are singing with heart not voice, and it is the main. A
singer must have a heart not only a voice".

A Zhambyl painter presented the composer a portrait in honor of 50th
anniversary and Pitertsev is depicted with a dombra in his hands. Vladimir
Veniaminovich conducted the folklore ensemble in "Kazakhconcert", play
flute, saxophone and Kazakh musical instruments. The composer also wrote
music for Kazakh plays, romances and kyuis. He learned to play dombra from
famous kyui performers in order to understand other nation and compose folk
music. He learned from Magauya Khamzin, Azidolla Yeskalitev.
The composer cooperates with Ibragim Issayev, Abdrahman Asylbek and young
poets. He often makes word for word translation with a help of dictionary.
Most Kazakhstani singers sing his songs, specially Makpal Zhunusova.
Shomishpai Sariyev says now Vladimir Pitertsev like a brother for him.

- Zatayevich, Brusilovskiy and Yerzakovich contributed much into the culture
of Kazakhstan. And Vladimir Pitertsev is among these prominent people. Not
only me, all other people who is acquainted with this modest man, say that
it is necessary to settle his monument for his creative activity, for his
wonderful kyuis and Kazakh songs.

- All these songs have a Kazakh color and they are closer to Kazakh people.
Nobody thinks the poet is a Russian man when listens to his songs. Nobody
can believe the songs were composed by Vladimir Pitertsev.

The man who loves this country and its people, can compose such a wonderful
song.
