Concert To Feature Iranian-Spanish Rhythms

Tehran, May 20, IRNA - Iranian ensemble Kouch is scheduled to hold a concert featuring a mélange of Iranian-Spanish flamenco music at Tehran’s Eivan Shams Hall on Wednesday. The band includes Mohammad Moazzen, Mohsen Moazzen and Pourya Nikpanah (guitar), Vafa Mesbahi (reed), Sina Elm (kamancheh) and Mohammad Reza Moqaddam (bass guitar). Flamenco is a form of Spanish folk music from the Andalusia region in south Spain. In 2010, UNESCO declared flamenco one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity./end
