Constitutional Court to consider two cases

Manama, Sep. 26 (BNA): The Constitutional Court will convene on Wednesday chaired by Court Chairman Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa to consider two constitutional cases. The first case was lodged challenging the constitutionality of Article 36 of the procedural code of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Commercial Arbitration Centre (GCC-CAC), associated with Law Decree 6/2000 for allegedly violating the provisions of Articles 20 and 31 of the Constitution. The second case was lodged challenging the constitutionality of Articles 40, 41, 42 and 43 of the Real Estate Lease Law 27/2014 for allegedly violating the provisions of Articles 4, 18, 20/F, 104 and 105 of the Constitution.
