Constitutional Court receives military prosecution officers

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): Constitutional Court Secretary-general Shaikh Sabah bin Hamad Al Khalifa on Thursday received military prosecution officers participating in the 8th Judicial Session during their visit to the court. Shaikh Sabah conveyed to them the greetings and good wishes of Constitutional Court President Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, expressing pride in their visit which comes as part of ongoing cooperation between the Constitutional Court and the BDF Military Judiciary. The court secretary-general briefed the officers about the court work mechanisms, principles and provisions as the main sureties of proper compliance with the Constitution, whose foundations have been consolidated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Towards the conclusion of their visit, the officers expressed their gratitude and appreciation of the court’s significant role in monitoring the constitutionality of the Kingdom’s laws and regulations.
