Cooperation between legislative, executive branches praised

Manama, Dec. 30 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh has stressed that the relation of cooperation, coordination and integration between the legislative and executive branches is a main pillar to bring about more legislative achievements that contribute to the kingdom's growth and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continuous support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. During the meeting today of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, with the legislative branch and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), the Shura Council Chairman lauded HRH the Crown Prince's role in boosting the governmental performance and stimulating creativity and innovation. He also praised the role of the coordination committee, chaired by HRH the Crown Prince, in following up on key issues aimed at promoting the national economy, diversifying revenues, luring investments and achieving more financial and economic stability for the kingdom. The Shura Council Chairman voiced pride and appreciation of growing cooperation between the legislative and executive branches which reflects the depth of Bahrain's democratic experience. He pointed out that continuous meetings between the legislative and executive branches contribute to activating joint programmes and achieving the aspirations of the leadership and people.
