Cooperation between Supreme Courts of Kazakhstan and Bulgaria
Astana, November 24, 2009 (Khabar) - Strengthening of cooperation between the supreme courts of Kazakhstan and Bulgaria will contribute to further development and improvement of judicial systems of our countries. On Monday, in Astana, chairman of Supreme Court of Kazakhstan Musabek Alimbekov and chairman of the Supreme Court of Bulgaria Lazar Gruyev discussed prospects of development of relations. The meeting was held within the visit of the Bulgarian delegation of judges. Its program includes meetings with judges and members of the scientific advisory board of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, a visit to the Academy of state management, and presentation of the project for implementation of a digital recording of the trial.
Lazar Gruyev, chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation of Bulgaria:
- We will develop our relations for the benefit of all citizens. We have a good understanding. I am confident that this will be a good beginning of our relationship.
Musabek Alimbekov, chairman of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan:
- Analysis of international experience allows us to introduce the best examples, best developments to our judicial system. In accordance with the program "Way to Europe", the state has set a target to improve the judicial system and we continue our work in this direction.
Kazakhstan and Bulgaria signed a protocol on cooperation in sphere of justice. It will be a starting point to develop joint programs and projects to improve the justice system in both countries.
