Crimes in sphere of state procurements cause many-million damage to the state

Astana, September 03 2009, Khabar – This has been said at the briefing of Agency of RK on fighting economic and corrupted criminality. During 7 months of this year the financial policemen began over 250 criminal cases on corruption facts in this sphere and the sum of damage is 825 million tenge. Currently the former head of healthcare department of Astana and his deputy are judged in the court. They are blamed for embezzlement of over 23 million tenge supposed for purchasing of medical equipment.
Case concerning deputy of regional maslikhat is investigated in South Kazakhstani region. He is suspected for protecting of his own business and receiving 80 million tenge from the budget. Former head of department of municipal services and auto roads in Shymkent signed reception acts of non existing auto parking that caused the damage 55 million tenge. Increasing of volume of work and signing of acts of non-done work are frequent violations, say financial policemen.

- In West Kazakhstani region the head of regional department of passenger transport and automobile roads is passed to the court for causing damage 88 million tenge having signed reception act of non-done work.
