Crown Prince meets RMAS reunion participants

Manama, Nov. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today received, in the presence of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard, at Riffa Palace. At the start of the meeting, His Highness Shaikh Nasser presented Major General Paul Nanson, the Commandant of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS), and a number of RMAS graduates to His Royal Highness, following their participation in the RMAS graduates reunion which is hosted by the Kingdom from 6-7 November. His Royal Highness praised the exemplary standards of RMAS teaching and training, and the discipline RMAS instills in its graduates when preparing them for leadership positions. The Crown Prince commended the role of the reunion, which hosts RMAS graduates from a range of allied and neighboring countries. In this regard, His Royal Highness welcomed the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser and the individuals involved in the organisation of the event, noting that it reflects the strong ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. His Royal Highness went on to welcome the reunion participants, and extended his best wishes to them in their professional careers, particularly in regards to the service of their countries. HH Shaikh Nasser expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness for patronisng the RMAS reunion, which was organised by the BDF, and for his strong support to cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and RMAS. His Highness Major Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force and His Highness Lieutenant Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince also attended the meeting.
