Crown Prince meets UAE Foreign Minister and Singaporean Minster of Defence

Manama, Dec. 10(BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and His Excellency Ng Eng Hen, Minister of Defence of Singapore, on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted that multilateral cooperation is critically important to effectively address a broad range of security challenges. In this regard, His Royal Highness stressed that the GCC countries are united in their commitment to strengthen ties with their international partners and allies in order to advance regional security and stability. His Royal Highness welcomed the UAE and Singapore’s participation in the 12th Manama Dialogue, and highlighted that the event provides an important opportunity for leaders to gather and discuss various regional political and security issues. The Crown Prince went on to praise the strong bilateral ties between Bahrain and the UAE and Singapore. Issues of mutual interest and the topics on the Manama Dialogue schedule were also discussed. A number of senior officials also attended the meeting.
