CSB participates in EuroMena conference in Oman

Manama, Nov. 8 (BNA): The Civil Service Bureau (CSB),Bahrain had participated by number of presentation on the sidelines of the Arab-European dialogue conference on public management (EuroMena), which was hosted at the Omani capital, Muscat, the Director General of Human Resources Development & Performance Management, Mr. Adel Hajji Ibrahim Mohammed confirmed on his presentation entitled "Modernization of human resource management and performance of public institutions" that the process of modernization of human resources applied on several stages and accompanied by a clearly defined roadmap and requires an effective plan for communication and change management process.
Director general of human resources development and performance explained in his paper, the civil service initiatives (15 projects), for the development of Civil service infrastructure, he pointed that these projects underwent thorough an extensive study, followed by a field survey to find out the visions and objectives of government entities, in which a number of projects have been identified that CSB seeks to implement in collaboration with government entities with the help of a specialized consulting firms to cope with the strategic objectives of the government and strategy of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The head of employee performance Ms. Alia Abdul Aziz Murad stressed in her presentation entitled "Experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain to shift to the Performance Management system (ADA?)", that CSB’s seeks on the implementation of the (ADA?) system to confirm the adoption of human resource management concept in the public sector through a thoughtful strategies and clear and specific objectives that seeks to transform from administrative leadership to strategic leadership that depends on efficient approach to human resources management, pursue justice, transparency and equality among all employees.
The Head of position control and organization information section , Mr. Ali Ghaleb Beshara in his presentation entitled "Is the Excess movement disorder and attention deficit are factors related to human resources risk factors in government projects at the Kingdom of Bahrain?", he pointed that the paper is a summary of a study related to disorder and to project management, particularly in the Arabian Gulf region and Bahrain, which is an attempt to link the symptoms of the disorder with the characteristics required of members of the government project teams, and to find out if there are mechanisms used to detect the disorder before the employee join work team.
The Head of budget and manpower expenditures section, Mr. Saber Mohammed Al-Barahim, explained on his presentation the administrative leadership techniques and job satisfaction in the Kingdom of Bahrain, he stressed on the importance of working in a transformational leadership manner, that depends on the machines for planned changes, desired by the participation of leaders and subordinates in achieving objectives of a high-level, and to exceeds the expected performance and find ways to succeed, which will have a positive impact on the performance of the government institutions in the Kingdom, in addition contributing to achieving and exceeding the desired objectives of the institutions with a need to adopt the principle of transformational leadership to the visions of these institutions and preparations of strategies, organizational structures and institutional culture.
