Customs President meets Saudi GAZT Governor

Manama, June 2 (BNA): The Governor of the Saudi General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT), Chairman of the King Fahd Causeway General Authority (KFCA) Suhail Mohammed Abanmi paid an inspection visit to the exit point at the King Fahd Causeway. He was received by Customs President, KFCA Vice Chairman Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa and security directors. He congratulated Abanmi on his appointment as GAZT Governor, wishing him success in his new duties. He stressed key KFCA projects and plans to enhance performance, develop systems and optimize the use of modern technologies, in order to serve this vital facility that links the two countries, and to contribute to raising the efficiency of work and ways to support the tourism and commercial movement. GAZT Governor thanked KFCA Vice Chairman for his keenness on supporting and following up on the implementation of projects, commending the efforts of the security directorates on the Bahraini side of the causeway.
