Deputy King receives Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

Manama, Apr. 24 (BNA): The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Shaikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, at Riffa Palace. The Deputy King affirmed that the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Kuwait continues to receive the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to further expand across all levels. The Deputy King noted that the joint efforts to strengthen the deep-rooted relations, including through the bilateral High Committee for Cooperation, have resulted in the deepening of ties between the two nations and their peoples. The Deputy King and HE Shaikh Sabah discussed a number of strategic issues and areas of shared interest and highlighted the importance of bilateral visits in advancing cooperation. HE Shaikh Sabah expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy King for the support he extends to the Bahrain-Kuwait bilateral relationship. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
