Deputy PM receives Bahrain e-Government Forum organizers

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received the chairman of the High Organising Committee of Bahrain’s 9th e-Government Forum, in the presence of CEO of the Informatics and e-Government Authority Mohammed Al Qaed. HH Shaikh Mohammed praised the committee efforts resulting in the forum’s excellent organizing level which attracted the participation of more than 800 experts and twenty speakers, from Bahrain and outside. His Highness stressed the significance of the forum in boosting Bahrain’s expertise in the field of e-government and its contribution to maintain the level attained by the Kingdom in this field as well as Bahrain’s advanced ratings in country indices as well as in the UN e-Government Report 2018 and Bahrain e-Government Index which honoured the outstanding entities. They highlighted key topics raised during the forum sessions, topped by the ministerial session organized for the first time in addition to the massive participation of companies and exhibiting entities during the Bahrain e-Government Forum. The CEO of the Informatics and e-Government Authority and members of the forum organizing committee thanked HH the Deputy Prime Minister for his patronage of the forum which had its great impact in its successful organizing and excellent topics.
