Deputy PM receives Tunisian ambassador

Manama, Mar. 17 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa emphasised the Kingdom’s contribution in the collective international efforts to maintain international security and stability and to prevent the dangers of terrorism worldwide. This came on Sunday as the Deputy Premier received recently-appointed Ambassador of Tunisia to Bahrain Salim Ghariani, at Gudaibiya Palace, and wished him success in the duties of his diplomatic mission. Shaikh Khalid recalled his visit to Tunisia as part of the entourage of the Royal visit of His Majesty the King to the sisterly Arab country in 2015 that tremendously contributed in the world’s collective anti-terrorism efforts. The deputy PM reiterated the Kingdom’s keenness on the sisterly country’s lasting security and stability. The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation of Bahrain’s contribution in maintaining regional and global security and stability, and voiced his country’s aspiration to continue its cooperation with Bahrain in the various fields, especially in the education and investment sectors. The two sides touched on various topics of shared concern as well as latest developments on the regional and internal arenas.
