Deputy Premier receives Bahrain Tennis Club Board of Directors

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs Hesham Mohammed Al Jowder, Board Chairman of Bahrain Tennis Club Khamis Al Muqla, Deputy Board Chairman Sami Abdullah Danish and member Abdul Hamid Khonji. The Deputy Premier thanked them for their active contribution to promoting tennis in Bahrain and efforts to ensure success of the 8th Bahrain International Junior Tennis Championship in which six Bahraini players are taking part this year alongside participants from 48 countries. The Youth and Sport Affairs Minister and Bahrain Tennis Club Board Chairman and members thanked the Deputy Premier for his support to the international tournaments organised by the club. They also briefed him on progress of work on the club's main court project and the ongoing championship which is held from October 24 to 29.
