Deputy Premier receives Chinese ambassador

Manama, Feb. 27 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, received Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Anwar Habibullah. They discussed the solutions taken to settle the conditions of medical students studying in Chinese universities and what the two countries can take in joint measures to ensure the approval of their qualifications. Deputy Premier was briefed on the current circumstances of the spread of coronavirus in China and the efforts made to combat it. The ambassador expressed his thanks to Bahrain for its cooperation in this regard, expressing the hope that all local and international efforts will succeed in stopping the spread of the virus. He also discussed the situation of the Chinese Muslims of the Uighur community, affirming that they enjoy all their national rights and religious beliefs.
