Deputy Premier receives Middle East Policy Council delegation

Manama, Feb. 10 (BNA): Deputy Premier, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, received here today a delegation from the Middle East Policy Council, including member and former US Ambassador to Bahrain, Ronald E. Neumann, President and former US Ambassador to Oman, Richard J. Schmierer, and Executive Director, Dr. Thomas Mattair, who are currently on a visit to Bahrain. The deputy premier welcomed the members of the delegation, and reviewed with them a number of current issues in the Middle East, and their impacts on the region’s security and stability. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak lauded the Middle East Policy Council’s interest in the region thanks to the experience of its members in its affairs, stressing its ability to highlight the developments witnessed by the Middle East. President and members of the Middle East Policy Council expressed thanks to the deputy premier for receiving them. They also expressed pleasure at visiting Bahrain, lauding the progress witnessed by the kingdom in various fields.
