Deputy Premier receives RCSI delegation

Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today a delegation from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), led by the college President Prof. John Hyland, who are on a visit to Bahrain to attend a graduation ceremony of the 7th batch of the nursing and higher studies and researches colleges for 2016 held under the patronage of HRH the Premier. The Deputy Premier hailed the role of RCSI and its medical and educational services to the Bahraini people. He also praised the college's reputation in the medical and educational sectors which spans for more than 200 years. The RCSI President thanked on behalf of all affiliates of the college HRH the government for its unflinching support, describing it as an incentive for further achievements. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive of RCSI in Dublin Prof. Cathal Kelly, Dean of the college Prof. Hanna McGee, RCSI-Bahrain President Prof. Samir Al Atoum and RCSI Board member Prof. Bridget Egan and Prof. Camilla Carroll.
